Channeling the ferocious and fantastical spirit of motor racing for 2017, Azimuth rolls out the Gran Turismo, a statement-making timepiece that oozes contemporary charm while paying tribute to the iconic four-wheelers of yesteryear.
A sculptural work of art, the Azimuth Gran Turismo is distinguished by a wholly unique case, flaunting curves that recall the profile of vintage cars, sharing the same design blueprint as its predecessor, the Twin Turbo, which was launched in 2016.
Testing the aesthetic and technical limits of automobile-inspired watches, the Azimuth GT case silhouette references the curvaceous bonnets of retro Porsche 911s from the 1960s. Elsewhere, the Gran Turismo’s striking dial – positioned at an inclined angle to allow drivers to easily check the time while on the road – is a nod to the larger-than-life speedometer displays found on Mini Cooper dashboards.
Further accentuating the throwback and sporty demeanour of the Gran Turismo are two decorative air vents that flank the dial, and ribbed leather straps with contrast stitching that matches the case and dial accents, which takes inspiration from the leather upholstery of 1970s supercars.
The Azimuth Gran Turismo is a perfect example of us going deep into the world of motorsports, looking back into its past and imbuing it with a sense of futurism to offer watch lovers a watch that is truly unique and distinctive.
The undulating and voluminous profile is a sight to behold, and cranking up on style quotient, the case comes in four dashing colour options that span the sophisticated to the flamboyant. Featuring polished stainless steel, gold sandblasted PVD, electric blue sandblasted PVD and hyper cool military camouflage PVD treatments, each colour execution comes in a limited edition.

To commemorate RAW's 15th anniversary in 2019, a special Celebratory Edition was created by Alexander Shorokhov, who described it as his "57,000 hours way to a masterpiece for RAW".
In coming up with this collectible, Shorokhov brought together things that reminded him about Singapore and RAW as well as his favourite things such as the combination of rose gold and stainless steel.
The Alexander Shorokhoff x RAW Celebratory Edition features a unique blue sunburst dial inspired by the blue waters surrounding Singapore and RAW's corporate colours. This collectible is limited to 15 pieces worldwide as a nod to RAW's 15th anniversary.
The watch is powered by the reliable and solid Russian AS3105 movement. Rose gold highlights complement the stainless steel elements of the watch. The inclusion of a chapter ring - a first in Alexander Shorokhoff's designs - gives the classic Avant Garde dial that the brand's fans are familiar with a totally different look.

With the Alexander Shorokhoff Revolution, Alexander Shorokhov wanted to realize his talent of engineer by showing more art and more “Avantgarde” in his design. At the same time, he was expressing his view to the future. The Revolution's big case of diameter 43.5mm not only gives Alexander Shorokhov space for the movement and the dial; but also makes room for his revolutionary imagination. Continuing his direction of avant-garde art, he completes the free space with geometrical elements such as a square, a pyramid and a sphere; as well as with small movement parts like springs and wheels. These parts are literally floating in free room within the case which is likely to be broken through by the metallic bars. A small bridge with enamel coating in the centre connects the watch with the surrounding space, which otherwise remains free and transparent.
The inner rim of the case and the outer edge of the small dial are similar to technical wheels. The aim was to create a feeling for the industrialisation and the heavy change in the lives of the people. The big industry and fine mechanism of watches are connecting with each other perfectly. Both aspects are symbolic for the watches of the Avantgarde-collection by Alexander Shorokhoff – connecting the non-compatible. In this way, place for reflection, thinking over and philosophizing arises. This is what makes this watch interesting, exciting and a real eye catcher.
The avant-garde dial with different shapes and colours fits perfectly in with its predecessors in the same family, namely Miss Avantgarde, Plus-Minus and Kandy Avantgarde. The case back is enamelled with further information about the watch. The rotor of the automatic movement is hand-engraved and refined.
The new object d’art of the designer and engineer Alexander Shorokhov brings the AvantGarde collection to a new level and reflects his visions of the future.

The Alexander Shorokhoff Neva Chronograph is a limited edition of 100 pieces and inspired by the mighty and most water-rich river in Europe - the Neva. This is a 74km long river in Russia, which flows from Lake Ladoga into the Neva Bay of the Baltic Sea, passing through Saint Petersburg.
From this inspiration, the wavy guilloché dial was created and can be found in the Alexander Shorokhoff Neva Chronograph - at the upper and somewhat smaller dial, with the hour markers punched out there.
The small curved second hand in the shape of the letter “N”, referencing the name of the watch, as well as the magnificence of the city of St Petersburg through its curved shape, is also found in the Alexander Shorokhoff Neva Chronograph. Silver hands create a shiny contrast to the colourful appearance of the dial, making it easier to read the time.
Furthermore, the beautiful automatic chronograph offers the familiar features of the Alexander Shorokhoff AvantGarde line: the large number 60, the silver-coloured “Alexander Shorokhoff” lettering, which this time has been displayed as an application, and a water resistance of up to 5ATM. The 43.5mm stainless steel case houses the hand-engraved and refined 2030.AS (base 2030 Dubouis Depraz) calibre with a hand-engraved and refined rotor.

Alexander Shorokhoff's Vintage line has been extended with the new edition of the Lucky 8.
The new model is even more sophisticated with its filigree features and buoyant engravings. The cutout in the dial allows an inside view of the refined watch movement. Engravings can also be found at the date changing wheel. The three fixing screws are blued by hand in order to complete the appearance.
A standout feature for the Lucky 8 is its date display. A special date disk in silver with yellow marks is fixed to the movement. The dial has 31 small windows so you can see the current date at the yellow mark appearing in one of the windows and read it on the outer scale. The stamped and silver plated date figures sparkle in renewed splendour.
In order to reach a balance with the date indication, the hands have been coloured yellow. The hour and minute hands are kept in typical Alexander Shorokhoff design, with updated small black decor lines. For better legibility, the second hand has been made half in black and half in yellow colour. The yellow seam of the genuine ostrich leather strap perfectly completes this beautiful watch.
Powering the Lucky 8 is the Poljot 2416 movement - a precise instrument which was used in the earlier rendition of Lucky 8. Sadly, the production of this movement was stopped about 20 years ago. Nowadays, it belongs to the Vintage rarities.
At the Alexander Shorokhoff manufactory, the movement is completely re-worked, lubricated, hand engraved and adjusted. Its beauty can be admired through the sapphire glass back.
Each version of the Lucky 8 is limited to only 50 pieces. This is the exact number of Vintage movements the manufactory could track down.

The Alexander Shorokhoff Levels gets its name from the different levels of the dial. One level stands for your home time while the next level shows you the local time of the place wherever you are at the moment. On the third level, the Alexander Shorokhoff logo is placed and the fourth level shows the serial number of the watch. All levels are of different heights giving the dial a complexity as you gaze at it.The most important and highest level is placed above the calendar window. There, at an elevated “bridge”, a magnifying glass is positioned in a creative and innovative way in order to enlarge the visibility of the relatively small date display of the refined ETA2671 movement. In this arrangement, the magnifying glass resembles a monocle and underlines the creativity of Alexander Shorokhov, who breaks away from the practice of incorporating the magnifying glass directly into the sapphire front glass.
The complete rose gold-plated “skyscraper” construction is built on a guilloched “basement“ in petrol-blue or silver colour, creating contrasts and harmony at the same time. The colours have been selected perfectly. However, for an avant garde artist, it would be too simple and unimaginative to leave it like that.Alexander Shorokhov looks to add something extraordinary to give the watch an inimitable characteristic. By applying a coloured stripe of indefinite form, the artist has succeeded not only in keeping the perfect arrangement but also imparting to the watch the unmistakable trademark of an Alexander Shorokhoff design.

The success of the first Babylonian model from Alexander Shorokhoff that was nominated for the German Design Award 2015, motivated Alexander Shorokhov to come up with a second rendition. The inspiration of the Alexander Shorokhoff Babylonian II comes from the history of the biggest and most powerful city’s of ancient times, Babylon also known as Gate of Gods.
The prosperity of the city in its heyday attracted astronomers, scientists, craftsmen and artists and turned it into a highly developed cultural center. Furthermore, the stellar constellations were discovered there, with the zodiac signs invented and the first horoscopes created.
This is where the cultural fascination with Babylon is picked up. In the Babylonian II, through a highly complicated procedure, the movement’s plates and the outer ring of the dial are delicately carved out by hand and decoratively designed.
The combination of the hour circle of dark blue mother of pearl with imprinted zodiac signs and blued hands and hour markers create a fascinating picture. On the back of the watch, you can take pleasure in the masterful engravings.
