Description
With polar white dials and shimmering blue indexes, the limited edition Polar Augsburg and Polar Aachen Augsburg are a new, fashionable interpretation of Laco pilot watches. Only 250 pieces of each model are available worldwide.
The thermally blued hands, used here for the first time in Laco's basic pilot watch series and the blue, metallic shimmering indexes are in perfect harmony. Depending on the incidence of light and the angle of view, these appear from deep blue to azure, accompanied by bright, ice-blue reflections - like the play of light between the dark polar sea and glittering icebergs.
During the day, the hands and numerals covered with Superluminova appear in a light green against the snow-white dial. Quite in contrast to the strong turquoise-blue glow in the darkness - like a glow in the polar night.
The Laco Polar Augsburg follows the design of the classic Type A dial and ensures clear readability with hour, minute and central seconds. The Laco Polar Aachen adopts the familiar Type B of historical navigation watches, which displays the hour circle on the inside and the minute scale on the outside. Both watches have a case diameter of 42mm and a brown calfskin strap with the decorative rivets typical of pilot watches.
