The T2/06 comes with a two-part stainless steel case which is PVD coated in black then sandblasted matte. This gives it a cast-iron utilitarian feel. When you take in the touches of gold on the bezel groove and the brushed dial ring, you start getting the feel of manifolds and gauges of old. Industrial zeitgeist oozes further when you discover the gears and levers - intricate workings of its automatic skeleton movement with a 40 hour power reserve - carefully assembled underneath the semi-transparent dial made of grey sun lense material.
