  • Limited Edition Angles Disc One Raw Steel Angles Disc One Raw Steel

    Angles Disc One Raw Steel

The Angles Disc One redefines how time is read. Instead of hands sweeping across a conventional dial, it presents time through rotating and jumping discs - transforming mechanical precision into a clean, architectural display. Bold yet disciplined, it is a watch for those who appreciate independent design that challenges convention without sacrificing reliability. Inspiration & Design Founded by a team with over two decades of experience developing timepieces for established Swiss and Japanese brands, Angles Watches was created to explore original complications with creative freedom. The Disc One reflects that ambition. Its layout replaces traditional hour and minute hands with: A jumping hour disc on the left A rotating minute disc on the right A central seconds hand A jumping date window at 12 o’clock The result is symmetrical, minimal, and mechanically expressive. Rather than overwhelming the dial, the design remains structured and legible - inviting the wearer to engage with time differently. Dial & Case Details Crafted from durable 316L stainless steel, the Disc One balances industrial robustness with refined finishing. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating ensures clarity, while the exhibition caseback reveals the automatic movement within. Each variant expresses a distinct character: Raw Steel – Brushed steel with black Super-LumiNova® numerals; direct and utilitarian Champagne Alloy – Warm ion-plated gold with black lume; restrained yet refined Obsidian Black – DLC-coated case with C9/BGW9 double-layer lume; bold and high-contrast Antique Steel – Distressed silver finish with vintage beige lume; subtly nostalgic Despite their visual differences, all share the same architectural discipline and functional clarity. Movement & Mechanics At the core of the Disc One is the Miyota 8215 automatic movement, paired with Angles’ in-house jumping hour module. This hybrid architecture combines proven Japanese reliability with independent complication development - delivering both durability and mechanical interest. Movement Specifications Calibre: Miyota 8215 automatic with Jumping Hour module Jewels: 24 Beat rate: 21,600 vph Accuracy: –15/+30 seconds per day Power reserve: Approx. 42 hours The jumping hour complication provides a crisp instantaneous change, while the minute disc rotates smoothly, reinforcing the watch’s distinctive rhythm. Strap & Wearability The Disc One is fitted with a 22–20mm Italian vegetable-tanned leather strap, hand-sewn and secured with a stainless-steel buckle. Its proportions and balanced case architecture ensure comfortable wear, while the unconventional display remains intuitive after only a brief adjustment period. • Seiko Presage SPB227J1 Sharp Edged Red

Seiko Presage SPB227J1 Sharp Edged Red

The Seiko Presage combines a Japanese aesthetic sense with traditional craftsmanship and Seiko’s watchmaking skills in an original collection that offers Japanese beauty, quality and long-lasting performance. The Seiko Presage Sharp Edged Series is a design series that revealed a fresh and powerful expression of Japanese artistry. This series captures the simplicity and refinement of traditional Japanese aesthetics in its delicately textured dial and gives it a modern edge with its sharp and angular case construction. The Seiko Presage Sharp Edged Series case and bracelet incorporate many flat surfaces that have a modern sharpness that allows the watch to shine and sparkle from every angle. The precisely engineered and polished surfaces and the crisp edges of its silhouette contrast with the subtle hairline finish to create a pleasingly multi-dimensional effect. The dial incorporates a Japanese Asanoha or hemp leaf pattern, familiar in Japanese culture for its use in design since the Heian period over a thousand years ago. The fibres that make up the plant's stem were traditionally used to make fabrics and the leaf pattern holds a special importance in Japanese culture as it symbolises rapid, strong growth and was thought to bring good health, especially to the young. The rich texture and intricacy of the dial's sharply edged geometric pattern create a subtle colour gradation as they play with the light at different angles. The Seiko Presage SPB227J1 features a ruby red dial - the colour of crimson glory vines known as Ebi-iro. Technical Specifications Case size: 39.3mm Case material: 316L stainless steel Case back: Exhibition caseback Movement type: Automatic Movement no.: 6R35 Power reserve: Approx 70hrs Dial: Red Japanese Asanoha or hemp leaf patterned dial; Lumibrite on hands and indices; stop second function; date display Glass: Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating Water resistance: 10ATM Strap type: Bracelet Strap material: Stainless steel bracelet Buckle: Stainless steel deployant buckle Warranty: 1 year
