Although the watch is powered by your own movement, a manual winding of the crown - without pulling it out - of about 20 rotations will greatly improve the power reserve in most cases. This is only to be done after a prolonged period of not wearing the watch. To set the time, simply pull out the crown, and rotate it. Push the crown in again once done. Do remember to try avoid contact with water. Splashes from when you're washing your hands or from a slight drizzle will do no harm to the watch, but a dip in the pool will.
