The Seiko Prospex SPB315J1 is part of the collection's Sea line with its design based on a 1968 heritage watch. The 1968 Seiko diver’s watch was designed to fit the needs of the professional diver for whom a reliable, accurate, legible and durable watch was indispensable. In its creation, form followed function without compromise, as is the case in these re-creations.
The case has a classic design but with an asymmetrical extension which protects the crown at the four o’clock position. The case is just 12.3mm in depth, making it the slimmest of all Seiko diver’s watches. Every detail is crafted with the needs of the diver in mind. The date window is positioned to allow unimpeded sight of all twelve indexes and the slim profile of the case and a new compact clasp ensure a comfortable fit on the wrist.
