  • Tennet Somerset Vermilion Tennet Somerset Vermilion

    Tennet Somerset Vermilion

The design of the Tennet Somerset originates from the brand's desire to create a good, honest timepiece, with classic yet unique, modern and sporty aesthetics. Seemingly an elegant, simple watch at first glance, the Tennet Somerset reveals new details upon each inspection. The Tennet Somerset Vermilion has a shade of red that represents passion, energy, and enthusiasm. At the same time, the colour has been executed in a nuanced and modulated manner that achieves subtlety and sophistication. The Tennet Somerset features  a sector-like design, incorporating various textures and shapes. The result is the Tennet Somerset’s signature dial that is rich, layered and complex. The tear-drop indices on the dial form a motif which will remain iconic for Tennet watches in the years to come. Water stands for new life, vitality, hope and optimism, and the sinuous shape of the tear-drop is both elegant and dynamic. The “Delta” style hour and minute hands created also draw inspiration and synergy from the tear-drop indices on the dial, and allow minimal obstruction of the sunburst dial. Swiss Superluminova lume allows for easy time-reading in the dark, including colour-matching lumes for the minute hand and the index at 12 o’clock. The seconds hand features a coloured tip, again in the tear-drop silhouette, and allows for instinctive reading of time. The Tennet Somerset Vermilion is paired with a white tip for a classy look. The watch case comes with flared lugs, reminiscent of vintage horn lugs of iconic timepieces, allow for a sporty aesthetic, while maintaining an elegant silhouette. This is a watch that is meant to be worn not just in the boardroom but also out in the field as a polyvalent instrument. The crown is a labour of love. Being a manual-winding watch, Tennet wanted a grippy crown, without the boring knurled aesthetic of many other watches. Many iterations were discarded prior to this final design - a faceted crown featuring multiple “Domino” holds. The red dot at the side of the crown is also a tribute to our origins, being from Singapore, a country many call the “Little Red Dot”. The caseback reveals the beating heart of the watch: Tennet's customised venerable SW210 manual-winding movement, a reliable and capable movement used in many high-end timepieces. Tennet utilised a top grade movement, which is fully decorated, with Côtes de Genève stripes, perlage on the base plates, and heat-blued screws. The wheel bridge also features Tennet's visual logo, an 8-pointed star, which alludes to the brand's clarity of purpose and direction, and is also a symbol of protection, strength and energy. The circumference of the caseback features Tennet's brand and product names, motto for this model, namely the indomitable and fearless spirit of Nolite Timere as well as the reference number of each Tennet watch. Each Tennet Somerset watch comes paired with a colour-synergistic full leather strap exclusively crafted for the brand by acclaimed Singaporean strap retailer, Delugs. Tennet's straps feature a quick-change function to allow for easy strap swaps to change the look of your timepiece. • Orodeus OD2-3 Umi-Budō Orodeus OD2-3 Umi-Budō

    Orodeus OD2-3 Umi-Budō

The Orodeus OD2 collection continues the sci-fi theme of the brand. This time, Orodeus invites you to go several leagues under the sea, inspired by Captain Nemo’s adventure. The original inspiration of the case design cines from a rare 1970s vintage watch with a jumping hour feature that Orodeus reimagined to be a submersible in its underwater adventure.  The case front profile is asymmetrical, making it unique from many other dive watches, with a strong presence of the screw-down crown at 4 c’clock. Viewing the side profile of the case will reveal a sliding contour that hugs the wrist comfortably. The lack of lugs at the 12 o’clock position also makes the watch very wearable even for small wrists. The finishing of the case is intertwined between the brushed and polished method, giving it a sporty yet refined feel overall. A 3mm-thick domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating makes the watch stand out better in terms of wrist presence and it brings out more of the dial detailings which include SuperLuminova-filled dot markers and textured fumee dial. Zoom closely on the dial will show caviar-look alike texture that a nickname is given to each colourway. For comfort and that consistent 1970s vibes, custom-designed rubber straps are paired with this collection. The sci-fi theme also continues in the watch’s presentation box, which bears a striking illustration by our comic artist. The drawing showcases the artist’s alter ego, Captain OD and his crew as they embark on their underwater adventures. All these elements have put OD2 in line with the retro futuristic genre of the brand DNA.  "Man is never perfect, nor contented.” ~ Jules Verne These wise words are still visible on the caseback as a reminder to the brand’s founders and to the future owners of Orodeus watches that we should all strive to improve ourselves and the people around us. Technical Specifications Case size: 41x45mm Case material: 316L stainless steel Case back: 316L stainless steel with engraved quote from Jules Verne Movement type: Automatic Movement no.: Sellita SW200-1 Power reserve: Approx 38hrs Dial: Green fumé textured dial with SuperLuminova on the dial and bezel markers Glass: Sapphire Water resistance: 20ATM Strap type: Strap Strap material: Rubber Buckle: Stainless steel tang buckle Warranty: 2 years
