Description
Alexander Shorokhoff's Glocker is a unique mechanical cricket alarm watch, thanks to the Poljot 2612 alarm movement it houses - which is based on the robust and reliable Swiss AS1475 movement by Adolf Schild.
Part of the AvantGarde collection, the Glocker features the signature big 60 numerals at 12 o'clock.
A standout detail for the Glocker is the 8 beautiful Mother of Pearl segments found between 5.30 and 9.30, with each segment in a colour that matches the colour of the sky at that timing.
The sound of the cricket alarm is fairly long and sonar as a result of the watch's extra-thin soundboard.
The beautifully-crafted Glocker is a worthy addition to the collection as mechanical alarm watches are a rare find.
