Inspiration and Design
The Revolution embodies Alexander Shorokhov’s dual talents as designer and engineer. Its expansive 43.5mm case provides space not just for the movement, but for imagination itself. Within this free, transparent structure, geometric forms — a square, a pyramid, a sphere — float alongside miniature watch components such as springs and wheels. Metallic bars appear to break through the open space, giving the impression of mechanical energy in motion.
At the center, an enamel-coated bridge connects these suspended elements, symbolizing the link between order and freedom, structure and creativity. The result is a dial that feels alive, daring, and revolutionary.
Dial and Case Details
The inner rim of the case and the border of the small dial are styled like industrial gears, evoking both the rise of heavy industry and the fine mechanics of watchmaking. Together, these elements create a dialogue between two worlds that rarely meet — machinery and art.
