Description
The Behrens Rotary is a unique mechanical timepiece. Powered by the Swiss ETA2824-2 calibre, Behrens has designed and constructed a twin-rotary module on top that is inspired by the Wankel engine developed for Mazda.
The large rotor is the hour indicator with the hour being read off applied metal indices on the left side of the dial. The smaller rotor on top indicates the minutes from applied metal indices on the right of the dial.
The dial and the rotors come with SuperLuminova to allow ease of time-reading in low light conditions. The Behrens Rotary's dial has been skeletonized so that the mechanism can be clearly seen.
