The CIGA Design Blue Planet Ice Age takes the same concept and softens it.
Instead of strong contrast or metallic highlights, it leans into cooler tones and layered textures - creating a dial that feels calmer, but no less detailed.
Time is still read through motion, but the experience is more subdued.
Inspiration & Design
The design draws from glacial landscapes and frozen terrain.
Rather than emphasising separation between elements, the dial blends them. Land and ocean transition more gradually, creating a sense of continuity across the surface.
The result is less graphic, more atmospheric - closer to a landscape than a display.
Dial & Case Details
The dial is constructed as a three-dimensional Earth, with terrain rendered through layered finishing and subtle tonal shifts.
Unlike the Black Gold version, contrast is intentionally reduced. Details emerge through texture rather than colour, giving the dial a softer visual presence.
Light plays a key role - revealing contours gradually rather than immediately.
The case remains restrained, allowing the dial’s surface treatment to define the watch.

The automatic movement drives the rotating Earth display.
