The entire timepiece depicts the fighter's belief of continuously pushing forward with an uncompromising, humble attitude.
The Seiko 5 Sports SRPF19K1 Street Fighter Ryu is inspired by his classic Judo uniform and the scratch marks across the bezel reflect the tough training Ryu has to go through to become a true fighter.
At the 9 o'clock position, you'll find the Kanji characters found on Ryu's gloves which signify: as swift as the wind, as gentle as the forest, as fierce as fire, and as unshakeable as the mountain.
The caseback features the controller command of Ryu's famous move, the Hadoken, as well as the Street Fighter V logo and serial number.
The front of the strap for the Seiko 5 Sports SRPF19K1 Street Fighter Ryu is made of a canvas material that brings to mind Ryu's uniform. The same Kanji characters found on the watch dial can likewise be found at the tip of the strap.
