Proudly made in Japan, the Seiko Presage Craftsmanship Series features dials brought to life by masters of traditional Japanese techniques. The Arita porcelain is Japan's first porcelain with a history of over 400 years and is used to craft the dial of the Seiko Presage SPB293J1. The Arita porcelain's strength has been enhanced through newly developed materials while retaining its traditional charms such as its soft sheen.
The Seiko Presage SPB293J1 Arita Porcelain is unique. The Arita porcelain dial is created through handwork and firing at a high temperature. As a result, it may have little dimples, tiny dots, and an uneven colour. These are unique features of genuine Arita porcelain dials, of which no two are exactly alike.
