A fusion of urban grit and futuristic design — the SEVENFRIDAY SF M1B/01 “Urban Explorer” is a bold statement in the M-Series lineup, built for the modern adventurer.
Inspiration and Design
The “Urban Explorer” draws its spirit from the city — industrial textures, unexpected contrasts, and the energy of exploration. Its multi-level interface reveals a layered dial with stamped pattern plates, overlapping discs, and an architectural “Y-wing” bridge overlay. These elements create depth, texture, and a sense of movement at every glance.
Dial and Case Details
Housed in a 47.6 × 47 mm square-cushion stainless steel case, the M1B/01 features a dark blue PVD "animation ring" and black grooved bezel lines, creating strong contrast and visual detail. The hardened K1 mineral crystal (with anti‐reflective coating) protects the layered dial construction.
The strap is made from genuine blue denim overlaid with black calfskin leather, paired with a beige-stamped lining for comfort. At 3 ATM (splash / rain resistant), it’s designed for everyday wear — not diving.
Movement and Performance
Under the dial, the M1B/01 runs on a custom Miyota 8215 automatic calibre, offering a 40-hour power reserve. The rotor and movement architecture are integrated beneath the layered dial design, in keeping with SEVENFRIDAY’s aesthetic of visible mechanics.
Embedded in the caseback is an NFC chip for secure authentication, registration, and connectivity through the SEVENFRIDAY app or authorised dealers.
Produced in limited numbers, the SF M1B/01 “Urban Explorer” bridges industrial design and wearable innovation — a watch that defines style and substance in one bold package.
