Inspiration & Design
Guided by the Maya Principle, the ME1/01 balances forward-thinking design with everyday wearability. Its slimmer, more rounded case marks a shift from the brand’s traditional square forms, offering a softer, more ergonomic profile.
At the same time, the layered dial construction maintains SEVENFRIDAY’s industrial DNA, creating depth and visual intrigue through a combination of mechanical and decorative elements.
Dial & Case Details
The 44 × 44.5 mm case features a grooved bezel accented with blue Berlac lacquer, introducing a subtle yet distinctive colour contrast.
Three cut-out sapphire crystal segments add complexity to the dial, revealing a five-layer construction that combines rhodium-cut panels, blue lacquer details, and engraved pointers at 12 and 9 o’clock. Time is displayed via rotating discs for hours and minutes, offering a dynamic and unconventional reading experience.
Movement & Features
The ME1/01 is powered by the TMI NH70 skeleton automatic movement, delivering approximately 41 hours of power reserve.
The partially openworked movement is visible beneath the dial, reinforcing SEVENFRIDAY’s emphasis on mechanical expression. An NFC chip embedded in the caseback enables secure authentication and registration via the SEVENFRIDAY App.
Bracelet / Strap & Wearability
The watch is fitted with a black calf leather strap, finished with tone-on-tone stitching and secured by a stainless steel butterfly clasp for a clean, refined look.
With its slimmer case profile and improved ergonomics, the ME1/01 offers enhanced comfort on the wrist while maintaining a strong visual presence.
