Conceived and designed in Singapore, the Argonaut reflects Tennet’s distinctive design language with a fresh, uncompromising take on one of watchmaking’s most iconic genres.
At its core beats a Swiss automatic Sellita movement, selected for its proven reliability and precision. Protected within is a fearsome octopus engraved onto the closed caseback, a powerful tribute to the deep sea—symbolising strength, wisdom, and the enduring mystery of the ocean’s depths.
The mazarine blue dial is nothing short of mesmerising. With its sunray finish that shimmers with light, it offers a dynamic contrast to the dial’s depth and complexity. Tennet’s signature sculptural teardrop hands make a bold return, now more expressive than ever, accompanied by rounded pips at the minute markers and soft mauve Superluminova for optimal legibility in the dark. A lollipop second hand adds a touch of whimsical refinement.
The 40mm stainless steel case is both sporty and sophisticated, with Tennet’s trademark horned lugs—pinched, sandblasted, and curved for an ergonomic wrist-hugging fit. The addition of a matte blue aluminium bezel gives the Argonaut a dynamic silhouette and a patina-ready finish. Its 120-click unidirectional action provides precise, satisfying tactile feedback, with luminous indices and numerals for low-light functionality.
Crowning the case is a double-domed sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating—delivering the charming distortion of vintage divers with the resilience of modern materials. The screw-down crown, featuring protective crown guards and Tennet’s distinct “Domino” dimples, is finished with a red dot—subtle yet proud homage to Singapore, the Little Red Dot.
