The Oris Aquis Upcycle watch, which is available with either a 41.5mm or 36.5mm case, is particularly special. The PET plastic recycling process produces random patterns, meaning no two dials are the same. In effect therefore, each piece is unique. Oris is not limiting either size, and will keep making the Oris Aquis Upcycle models for as long as there’s demand. Oris's hope is that its customers will choose the Aquis Date Upcycle and join the brand in making a daily commitment to reducing the world’s ocean plastic crisis.
Beyond the dial, the watches share their architecture with the popular Aquis Date 41.5mm and 36.5mm models. Both have a stainless steel case and a uni-directional rotating diver’s bezel with a scratch-resistant grey ceramic insert. They also have a stainless steel bracelet with a clasp extension system, crown protectors, a screw-down crown and a Swiss Made automatic mechanical movement.

The Oris x Bracenet Aquis is a special edition collaboration between independent Swiss watchmaker, Oris, and social enterprise, Bracenet, which makes accessories from upcycled "ghost" fishing nets.
Oris has always been a strong champion for thinking, behaving and acting sustainably. Over the years, Oris has significantly reduced the environmental impact of its factory in Hölstein; it has expanded its portfolio of sustainable suppliers; and Oris has partnerd with a wide body of pioneering charities, social enterprises, non-profits and businesses with a sustainability profile that matches the brand's. Change for the Better remains a key, ongoing goal for Oris.
The Oris x Bracenet watches is one result of this goal. Ghost fishing nets - nets which have been discarded or lost - are estimated to make up almost 50% of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch (GPGP). These ghost fishing nets continue to catch and kill marine life as they remain in the oceans. Bracenet was founded to tackle this issue by transforming this life-threatening waste product into beautiful products and accessories that also make a statement: change must come.
The Oris x Bracenet watches come with a spectacular dial made of recycled ghost and end-of-life nets. Making these kaleidoscopic dials involves taking small green, blue and white offcuts and gently warming them until they melt into the raw material. As they cool, they harden into a thin sheet of material. This is then cut to size, planed and sanded down until it's just 0.3mm thick. The material contains no additives, fillers or glues. No two dials are the same.

Orient Star's Diver 1964 2nd Edition is based on the Calendar Auto Orient, one of the company’s first divers’ watches released in 1964. The Calendar Auto Orient featured simple dot indices on a mirror black finished dial, hands designed for excellent visibility, a rotating bezel incorporating an anodized aluminum ring, and sharply defined lugs.
The Diver 1964 2nd Edition reflects the designs inherited from the original model, a screw case-back, a dual curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, and water resistance to 200 metres compliant with the ISO 6425 standard for air diving watches. It also features the in-house 46-F6 series caliber F6N47 automatic movement, which provides high accuracy and a power reserve of over 50 hours.
This green version is is a matte green dial with a matching matte green bezel surface. The green gradation on the dial is inspired by the Ryusendo Cave in Iwate Prefecture, Japan, thought by some to be the most beautiful and mysterious limestone cavern in the world.
This model reflects the spirit of the divers who dive deep into the underground lakes to survey the cave and unlock its mysteries. The case is made of high-quality stainless steel (SUS316L) and its relatively compact 41mm diameter makes it ideal for everyday use. The five-piece link metal strap is made of the same SUS316L stainless steel, providing an unmistakable presence on the wrist as well as a comfortable fit. A divers’ extension structure and the trifold deployment buckle with push button and security latch are included, making the watch practical to use when playing sports or walking around town. The pyramid-like ridges of the additional silicon strap echo the design of the metal band of the original Calendar Auto Orient, providing a different look to enjoy.
