Inspiration & Design
The X Series Gorilla draws from both the physical power of the gorilla and the engineering logic of suspension systems.
Each corner of the case incorporates an independent spring suspension system, inspired by high-performance automotive design. This structure enhances shock resistance while reinforcing the watch’s mechanical identity.
Within the case, four triangular structural elements form a stable geometric framework, supporting the suspended mechanical core and giving the watch its distinctive architectural presence.
Dial & Case Details
The watch features a double-sided skeleton construction, allowing the movement to be viewed from both the front and the caseback.
Rather than using a traditional dial, the time scale is integrated directly into the case structure - creating a display that feels embedded within the architecture.
The orange PVD coating introduces a strong visual contrast against the exposed mechanical components, emphasising the watch’s industrial character while adding a more expressive, high-energy tone.
The signature double-X motif is coated with Super-LumiNova, ensuring visibility in low-light conditions.

At its core is CIGA Design’s in-house CD-01 automatic movement, developed specifically for the X Series.
