Horizon Watches -N- Cardinal Red Black Bronze
The -N- is Horizon Watches' first collection. The series of dive watches is inspired by Captain Nemo’s submarine vessel, the Nautilus, in Jules Verne’s classic: Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea. Fred Bekher, co-founder and designer of Horizon Watches, will always remember how as a child while he pored over Verne's work, he would imagine how the Nautilus looked like. These memories, aided greatly by Vernes' very eloquent description of the submersible, served as a basis for Bekher's design. The 42mm case of the -N- comprises of two parts with side bevels that go from the bottom part of the case body to the crown guards. Crafted in either 316L stainless steel or CuSn8 marine bronze, the Nautilus’ case features different surface finishings to achieve contrast between polished and brushed surfaces. The Horizon Watches -N- comes with two different dial designs. Dials for the stainless steel models have a textured centre while those for the bronze models have a patterned centre. A Victorian-style minute railway design marks the passing of the minute hand. Hour markers are in the form of circle indices with indices at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock shaped differently as inspired by nature, namely the nautilus, which is widely considered a symbol of beauty and perfection. Indices and hands are coated with SuperLuminova for maximum legibility in low-light conditions. The date has been cleverly built into the design as one of the hour markers with the date wheel coated in SuperLuminova so that the date window glows in the dark. Powering the -N- is the TMI NH35A calibre, which is known and proven to be a reliable workhorse movement. The caseback of the -N- features a specially designed illustration that is etched and encased in sapphire crystal to create an illusion. Your eyes are first attracted by the apparent depths of the artwork. Then, your fingers will be drawn to explore these fathoms below only to make contact with the clean flat surface of the sapphire glass. The bezel of the watch features a coin-edged style design and includes a dome- shaped insert made from black PVD coated stainless steel. The -N- comes with a similarly coin-edged, screwdown crown giving the watch a water resistance of 30ATM. Completing the watch is a rubber strap with quick release spring bars and featuring the same print that you find in centre of the bronze model’s dial. Horizon Watches’ -N- comes in four dial colours: Aegean Blue, Salmon Sand, Myrtle Green and Cardinal Red. Technical Specifications Case size: 42mm (excluding crown) Case material: CuSn8 marine bronze Case back: Stainless steel with etched illustration, ‘In search of treasure’; encased by sapphire crystal; the inside of the caseback has a perlage finishing and an engraving of the -N-'s’ motto, Mobilis in Mobili (meaning moving within a moving element) Movement type: Automatic Movement no.: Seiko NH35A Power reserve: Approx 40hrs Dial: Patterned centred dial in Cardinal Red; dot indices filled with SuperLuminova; date window at 4 o’clock with date wheel painted in beige SuperLuminova; model name logo appears as stylised N at 6 o’clock position below which you will find the Nautilus’ motto, Mobilis in Mobili Bezel: Unidirectional, 120-click coin-edged style design bezel with a dome-shaped insert made from black PVD coated stainless steel Glass: Flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating applied on the interior side Water resistance: 30ATM Strap type: Rubber Strap material: Vulcanised rubber with patterned print on the skin facing-side Buckle: CuSn8 marine bronze tang buckle Warranty: 1 year

Horizon Watches Pilgrim Young Captain's Edition
Horizon Watches' Pilgrim is a Super Compressor-style dive watch that continues the Jules Verne story that has been the inspiration for the brand's designs. First published in 1878, Un Capitaine de Quinze Ans (A Captain at Fifteen) is an adventure that follows the voyages of Pilgrim, a whaler, across the Pacific. The protagonist is a fifteen year-old crew who is tasked to be the captain of the ship when disaster strikes. Imagine being fifteen and the fate of the ship you are on is handed over to you. In Jules Verne’s universe, that is a recipe for an action-packed adventure. As the story unfolds, one can find common life themes such as bravery, sufferings and fights for freedom. The story that inspires Horizon Watches’ Pilgrim pans out mostly on water. Thus, a diver was deemed most apt for the collection. This time, a Super-Compressor style diver was chosen to be the starting point for the design. Three principles set by Fred Bekher, co-founder and designer of Horizon Watches, guide the design process, namely: a two-part main case; detailings; and functionality. The main body of the case combines two separate elements that have different surface finishes to achieve contrast between polished and brushed surfaces. The Pilgrim comes with two coin-edged design, screwdown crowns; each is 7mm in diameter, making it easy to handle and wind as needed. For those familiar with Horizon Watches’ first collection, you would have an inkling that the brand owners like to treat the watch they design like a labyrinth full of hidden clues. This thread continues here with the Pilgrim. You will find numbers, a quote, and text in places not immediately visible to the eyes. The early super compressor tended to mark the 12, 3, 6, and 9 hour indicators with a triangle frame. In the Pilgrim, this has been reinterpreted with a trapezium instead. To give the watch design a further twist, one of these trapeziums has been made into a date window, resulting in a super unusual super compressor, challenging you to find the secret date window! The centre of the dial for the Pilgrim has a finely polished finished raised cone that provides the base for the three uniquely designed hands for time reading. In line with the sea adventure story that inspired the collection, they are shaped like fishing spears. For superior legibility, all three hands are luminous. Look closely at the Pilgrim and you will find an excellent quality of polishing even on a small surface like the applied index and dot markers. Turn the Pilgrim over and find on the caseback a graphic illustrated by Bekher engraved on the caseback. The illustration depicts Pilgrim, the ship and a whale. In many cultures, a ship symbolizes journey and adventure. The crystal of the watch is a boxed type sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating applied on the interior side. The anti-reflective coating helps minimise glare under the sun and also increases dial readability. Every Pilgrim watch comes with an original design, high quality and super comfortable FKM rubber strap that is equipped with quick release spring bars. The buckle is of a custom design and finished in a similar style as the case, with a combination of brushed and polished surfaces. The Pilgrim is available in four colours: Blue Ocean, Black Ocean, Green Ocean and Young Captain's Edition. Technical Specifications Case size: 41mm Case material: 316L stainless steel with brushed and polished finishings Case back: Screwdown close caseback with engraved graphic Movement type: Automatic Movement no.: SW200-1A with customised date disc Power reserve: Approx 38hrs Dial: Embossed sandblasted textured dial, polished applied indices with SuperLuminova (old radium lume/BGW9); hands are polished spear-shaped handset, filled with SuperLuminova (old radium lume/BGW9) Bezel: Inner rotating bezel filled with SuperLuminova (old radium/BGW9) Glass: Boxed sapphire with internal 3 layers of anti-reflective coating Water resistance: 20ATM Strap type: Rubber Strap material: FKM rubber Buckle: Stainless steel tang buckle, customised with logo Warranty: 1 year

Alexander Shorokhoff Lucky 8 RG
Alexander Shorokhoff's Vintage line has been extended with the new edition of the Lucky 8. The new model is even more sophisticated with its filigree features and buoyant engravings. The cutout in the dial allows an inside view of the refined watch movement. Engravings can also be found at the date changing wheel. The three fixing screws are blued by hand in order to complete the appearance. A standout feature for the Lucky 8 is its date display. A special date disk in silver with yellow marks is fixed to the movement. The dial has 31 small windows so you can see the current date at the yellow mark appearing in one of the windows and read it on the outer scale. The stamped and silver plated date figures sparkle in renewed splendour. In order to reach a balance with the date indication, the hands have been coloured yellow. The hour and minute hands are kept in typical Alexander Shorokhoff design, with updated small black decor lines. For better legibility, the second hand has been made half in black and half in yellow colour. The yellow seam of the genuine ostrich leather strap perfectly completes this beautiful watch. Powering the Lucky 8 is the Poljot 2416 movement - a precise instrument which was used in the earlier rendition of Lucky 8. Sadly, the production of this movement was stopped about 20 years ago. Nowadays, it belongs to the Vintage rarities. At the Alexander Shorokhoff manufactory, the movement is completely re-worked, lubricated, hand engraved and adjusted. Its beauty can be admired through the sapphire glass back. Each version of the Lucky 8 is limited to only 50 pieces. This is the exact number of Vintage movements the manufactory could track down. Technical Specifications Limited edition: Only 50 pieces available worldwide Case size: 43.5mm Case material: Brushed and polished stainless steel case with PVD coating in rose gold Case back: Sapphire crystal Movement type: Manual winding Movement no.: Vintage manual winding movement Poljot 2416, hand-engraved and refined Power reserve: Approx 42hrs Dial: Open dial, black; yellow hands painted with black decor line Glass: Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating Water resistance: 5ATM Strap type: Leather Strap material: Genuine ostrich leather belt in black with yellow stitching Buckle: Stainless steel tang buckle Features: 3-hand watch Warranty: 2 years

Alexander Shorokhoff Revolution
With the Alexander Shorokhoff Revolution, Alexander Shorokhov wanted to realize his talent of engineer by showing more art and more “Avantgarde” in his design. At the same time, he was expressing his view to the future. The Revolution's big case of diameter 43.5mm not only gives Alexander Shorokhov space for the movement and the dial; but also makes room for his revolutionary imagination. Continuing his direction of avant-garde art, he completes the free space with geometrical elements such as a square, a pyramid and a sphere; as well as with small movement parts like springs and wheels. These parts are literally floating in free room within the case which is likely to be broken through by the metallic bars. A small bridge with enamel coating in the centre connects the watch with the surrounding space, which otherwise remains free and transparent. The inner rim of the case and the outer edge of the small dial are similar to technical wheels. The aim was to create a feeling for the industrialisation and the heavy change in the lives of the people. The big industry and fine mechanism of watches are connecting with each other perfectly. Both aspects are symbolic for the watches of the Avantgarde-collection by Alexander Shorokhoff – connecting the non-compatible. In this way, place for reflection, thinking over and philosophizing arises. This is what makes this watch interesting, exciting and a real eye catcher. The avant-garde dial with different shapes and colours fits perfectly in with its predecessors in the same family, namely Miss Avantgarde, Plus-Minus and Kandy Avantgarde. The case back is enamelled with further information about the watch. The rotor of the automatic movement is hand-engraved and refined. The new object d’art of the designer and engineer Alexander Shorokhov brings the AvantGarde collection to a new level and reflects his visions of the future. Technical Specifications Limited edition: Only 100 pieces available worldwide Case size: 43.5mm Case material: Stainless steel Case back: Sapphire crystal Movement type: Automatic Movement no.: AS 2671 Power reserve: Approx 42hrs Dial: Avantgarde-style design with objects and shapes seemingly floating in free space Glass: Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating Water resistance: 5ATM Strap type: Leather Strap material: Calf Buckle: Stainless steel tang buckle Features: 3-hand watch Warranty: 2 years
