True to its name, the Levels is defined by its multi-layered dial construction. Each level serves a different purpose: one for home time, another for local time, a third for the Alexander Shorokhoff logo, and a fourth for the serial number. The highest level rises above the calendar window, where an elevated “bridge” houses a magnifying glass. Positioned in a novel way, it enlarges the date display of the ETA 2671 calibre without integrating the lens into the sapphire crystal — a creative break from tradition that recalls the elegance of a monocle.
Dial and Case Details
The entire rose gold-plated “skyscraper” construction rests on a guilloché base, available in petrol blue or silver, creating both contrast and harmony. To complete the design, Shorokhov adds his artistic signature: a bold coloured stripe of indefinite form. Following the success of the first Babylonian model — a German Design Award 2015 nominee — Alexander Shorokhov presents the Babylonian II. Its design pays tribute to Babylon, known as the “Gate of Gods” and one of the most powerful cities of ancient times.
In its golden age, Babylon flourished as a cultural hub, attracting astronomers, scientists, craftsmen, and artists. It was here that zodiac signs were first imagined and horoscopes created — milestones in humanity’s understanding of the cosmos. This celestial heritage forms the foundation of the Babylonian II’s design.
Dial and Case Details
Through a highly intricate process, the movement’s plates and the dial’s outer ring are carved and decorated entirely by hand. The dark blue mother-of-pearl hour circle is imprinted with zodiac symbols, creating a celestial canvas that recalls Babylon’s legacy of stargazing and discovery.
Blued hands and polished hour markers enhance the depth of the dial, while the reverse side showcases hand-engraved artistry on the movement, visible through the exhibition caseback. The result is a timepiece that combines historical storytelling with Shorokhoff’s signature avant-garde expression.

Drawing inspiration from copper piping and the machinery of the Industrial Revolution, the M2/02 showcases SEVENFRIDAY’s ability to turn functional elements into art. Its architecture is built around the interplay of rose gold and dark grey mirror-PVD surfaces, evoking pipes, gears, and engineered flow.

Housed in a 47 × 47.6 mm polished stainless steel case with rose gold PVD treatment, the M2/02 features a dark grey mirror PVD bezel with rose gold highlights and a sandblasted animation ring. Its interface comprises seven alternating layers in dark grey and rose gold, finished in cast iron grain, opalin, matte and satin textures. Three custom discs indicate hours, minutes, and seconds — read from right to left.
The strap is made of brown calfskin suede leather with matching stitching and signature SEVENFRIDAY branding. The watch has a water resistance of 3 ATM (splash/rain resistant).
Movement and Technology
Inside operates Miyota’s automatic calibre 8215, offering approximately 40 hours of power reserve. The caseback embeds an NFC chip, enabling authentication, registration, and connection through the SEVENFRIDAY App or authorised dealers.
