  • Orodeus OD2-2 Pike Orodeus OD2-2 Pike

    Orodeus OD2-2 Pike

The Orodeus OD2 collection continues the sci-fi theme of the brand. This time, Orodeus invites you to go several leagues under the sea, inspired by Captain Nemo’s adventure. The original inspiration of the case design cines from a rare 1970s vintage watch with a jumping hour feature that Orodeus reimagined to be a submersible in its underwater adventure.  The case front profile is asymmetrical, making it unique from many other dive watches, with a strong presence of the screw-down crown at 4 c’clock. Viewing the side profile of the case will reveal a sliding contour that hugs the wrist comfortably. The lack of lugs at the 12 o’clock position also makes the watch very wearable even for small wrists. The finishing of the case is intertwined between the brushed and polished method, giving it a sporty yet refined feel overall. A 3mm-thick domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating makes the watch stand out better in terms of wrist presence and it brings out more of the dial detailings which include SuperLuminova-filled dot markers and textured fumee dial. Zoom closely on the dial will show caviar-look alike texture that a nickname is given to each colourway. For comfort and that consistent 1970s vibes, custom-designed rubber straps are paired with this collection. The sci-fi theme also continues in the watch’s presentation box, which bears a striking illustration by our comic artist. The drawing showcases the artist’s alter ego, Captain OD and his crew as they embark on their underwater adventures. All these elements have put OD2 in line with the retro futuristic genre of the brand DNA.  "Man is never perfect, nor contented.” ~ Jules Verne These wise words are still visible on the caseback as a reminder to the brand’s founders and to the future owners of Orodeus watches that we should all strive to improve ourselves and the people around us. • Nivada Grenchen Super Antarctic Black Green Lume Nivada Grenchen Super Antarctic Black Green Lume

Nivada Grenchen Super Antarctic Black Green Lume

The Nivada Grenchen Super Antarctic is the not-so-distant cousin of the original Nivada Antarctic collection launched in 1950. The original rose to fame when it was used by members of the American Navy’s Deep Freeze 1 Task Force during their expeditions in the South Pole (1955-56). It was noted as being reliable and robust enough to perform in the most extreme conditions. Today’s Super Antarctic is an evolution from the original Antarctic keeping close to the 50s’ lines & design. Just like the original Antarctics, Nivada Grenchen added the 1957 International Geophysical Medallion directly on the caseback of all its modern Super Antarctics. Admiral Richard Byrd and his US Navy team were given the Nivada Antarctic to accompany them on their Operation Deep Freeze I expedition to the South Pole in 1955/1956, making it the first watch that went to the Antarctic. A feat of great proportion which earned this model a place in the history of horology! Although, until recent times, before its revival, it was the most underrated expedition watch ever. In November 2021, Nivada Grenchen launched a modern re-issue of the Super Antarctic. Here's an interesting story about it. When one of the fans posted a vintage Super Antarctic on Instagram, Guillaume shared the post as a story on Nivada Grenchen's official Instagram account and the fans went wild. Requests started pouring in to re-issue the model. Nivada Grenchen listened to its fans and set to work. Soon, the Nivada Grenchen Super Antarctic was launched. The Nivada Grenchen Super Antarctic's black dial is simple but striking. Beneath the Nivada name is the word Aquamatic, (waterproof + automatic). Above the number 6 is the signature Super Antarctic font with 25 RUBIS printed below. The Super Antarctic features a true 1950s vibe, thanks to its unique lollipop hour hand and large sword minute hand combo. Complemented by the (almost) oversized triangle index markers at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock, you’ll clearly understand why this watch was used in conditions as harsh as the South Pole. Both dial and hands work together to provide superb legibility and elegance. The 38mm case of the Nivada Grenchen Super Antarctic with a screw-down crown wears comfortably on the wrist. Its case back is decorated with the signature golden medallion. The medallion of the Nivada Grenchen Super Antarctic is one of the most intriguing parts of the watch. It throws you into the past and depicts a scenario from operation Deep Freeze I. The embossed aircraft has the following story. On 21 October 1956, one of the first USAF aircrafts, a Douglas C-124 nicknamed "Miss North Caroline" landed in Antarctica after a 121/2-hour flight from Christchurch, New Zealand. Deep Freeze I prepared a permanent research station, which is also etched on the medallion (along with glaciers stars and the crescent moon in the background) and paved the way for more exhaustive research in future Deep Freeze operations. Technical Specifications Case size: 38mm Case material: 316L stainless steel Case back: 316L stainless steel; signature gold medallion on the back Movement type: Automatic Movement no.: Soprod P024 Power reserve: Approx 38hrs Dial: Matte black dial; silver hands and indices filled with green SuperLuminova Glass: Sapphire Water resistance: 10ATM Strap type: Strap Strap material: Brown calf with white stitching Buckle: Stainless steel tang buckle Warranty: 2 years

  • Mido Ocean Star Decompression Worldtimer Black Mido Ocean Star Decompression Worldtimer Black

Mido Ocean Star Decompression Worldtimer Black

The Mido Ocean Star Decompression Worldtimer is an irresistible neo-vintage style piece with bright colours and cutting-edge technologyr revives the diving spirit of the 1960s while transporting watch connoisseurs towards new horizons. Created in the 1960s, the innovative Ocean Star Skin Diver Watch used a multicoloured scale to display decompression times. Today, the Ocean Star Decompression Worldtimer retains this vintage charm. The original decompression plate, the applied and polished original Mido logo, the bright colors, the sapphire crystal in a "glassbox" shape that is reminiscent of the plexiglas used at that time - are all elements inspired by a legendary timepiece. The colorful face of the Ocean Star Decompression Worldtimer pays tribute to the model created by Mido in 1961 and its innovative decompression scale function. The dial is dressed in the bright colours of the original model's table - an aesthetic nod to the legendary piece that is in no way intended to replace modern diving instruments. Depths are indicated at 12 o'clock: in meters (left) and in feet (right). Each coloured ring is assigned a scale - 25m (80 feet), 30m (95 feet), 35m (110 feet) and 40m (130 feet). The number corresponds to the depth at which the circle should be viewed by the diver. For example, at a depth of 25 to 29 meters, the first circle (yellow) should be consulted. In addition, each circle has a number 0 on it, the location of which varies from ring to ring. On the yellow circle, 0 is located near the 34th minute division of the dial, which means that at a maximum depth of 25 to 29 meters, the diver can remain at that depth for 34 minutes without needing to make a decompression stop during ascent. The Mido Ocean Star Decompression Worldtimer is equipped with a GMT function and a world time bezel to take you to new heights. A red arrow indicates the time of travel - in contrast to the flat diamond hour, minute and second hands. The rotating bezel, equipped with an aluminum ring, is marked in silver with the world's major cities. This will revive the diver's spirit of the 1960s to surf the frontiers, jet lag proof and deep underwater. Mido designed the Ocean Star Decompression Worldtimer to withstand any conditions and to do it with flair. The screw-down case back and crown contribute to its water resistance of up to 200 metres and protect the calibre 80 from water damage. The extreme reliability of this Swiss automatic movement, counts on a generous power reserve of up to 80 hours and a Nivachron™ balance-spring – providing exceptional resistance to magnetism and shock, which makes it particularly durable. With its included additional strap, the Mido Ocean Star Decompression Worldtimer watch offers wrists a variation in style. Versatile and adding a sporty touch, the first is in textured navy blue or black rubber. An ingenious system allows you to change it at the click of a button for a second, more retro-style Milanese mesh strap. NOTE: For this brand, RAW only ships to a local address in Singapore. • Laco Augsburg Blaue Stunde 39 Laco Augsburg Blaue Stunde 39

    Laco Augsburg Blaue Stunde 39

The Laco Augsburg Blaue Stunde 39 is part of the Blaue Stunde collection of pilot watches. Blaue Stunde translates to "twilight hour" in German and references that short period between dusk and dawn or dawn and dusk that the sky turns an immaculate blue. This is the shade of blue that Laco captures in its Blaue Stunde collection. The Laco Augsburg Blaue Stunde 39 comes with a Type A (Baumaster A) design dial. This features a classic dial with 11 Arabic numerals and a triangle with two dots instead of the number at 12 o'clock.  There are pilot watches. And then there is the pilot watch from Laco. As one of a few exclusive companies producing original pilot watches, the workshop in Pforzheim can look back on a long tradition. Whereas in the 1940s, a Laco was an indispensable tool in the cockpit, today it is an expression of freedom. With a Laco aviator watch, you are not only wearing a precise and robust watch on your wrist, but also a piece of history. Regardless of which Laco aviator watch you choose, all models have one thing in common: a legendary history. In the 1940s, only a handful of companies received permission to manufacture pilot watches. One of them was Laco. The detailed requirements laid down for observation watches for the German Air Force were formulated by the Ministry of Aviation under the classification "FL 23883". This number stood for "navigation devices" and could also be seen on each watch on the opposite side of the winder. As authentic replicas of historical Laco aviator watches from the 1940s, the current models are characterised by their high precision combined with outstanding design. The main characteristics of a Laco aviator watch are, among other things, the iconic watch face, the distinctive onion-shaped crown, the closed leather strap and the surface finish of the casing. Robust aviator watches with distinctive marks that tell a story are the "heirlooms" of Laco. The unique and intentional signs of wear on the aviator watches attest to their authenticity and an eventful history - and turns each "heirloom" into a high-quality one-of-a-kind item. In other words: a legend that Laco's watchmakers build with devotion - and Laco's customers wear with passion. Technical Specifications Case size: 42mm Case material: Sandblasted stainless steel case with FL23883 engraving on the side Case back: Exhibition caseback with sapphire crystal Movement type: Automatic Movement no.:  Laco 2S based on Miyota 82S0 Power reserve: Approx 42hrs Dial: Blue with sun ray pattern, Arabic numbers and indexes with luminous material SuperLuminova C3; black matte hands filled with SuperLuminova C3 Glass: Sapphire crystal Water resistance: 5ATM Strap type: NATO Strap material: Grey nylon Buckle: Tang buckle Warranty: 2 years
