The Shanghai Watch Moonlit Serpentine White Dial 36mm presents a lighter, more open interpretation of the series.
It retains the same architectural inspiration, expressed through a brighter dial that emphasises clarity and structure.
Inspiration & Design
The Moonlit Serpentine draws from the layout of traditional Chinese gardens, where pathways and structures are revealed progressively through movement.
In this variant, the design feels more immediate. The lighter dial brings forward the architectural references, allowing the composition to be read more clearly at a glance.
Motifs inspired by elements such as the Huxinting Pavilion and winding bridges are integrated into the dial as part of the overall structure.
Dial & Case Details
The white dial provides a clean base that enhances legibility and highlights the layered detailing.
Subtle contrasts between surfaces allow the serpentine-inspired elements to emerge without adding visual weight.
The 36mm stainless steel case keeps the watch compact and balanced, supporting the dial without overpowering it.
A sapphire crystal ensures clarity, while 50m water resistance adds practicality for daily wear.
Movement & Mechanics
Powered by an automatic mechanical movement, the watch delivers reliable, consistent performance.
The classic three-hand layout keeps the watch intuitive and easy to read, aligning with its overall design clarity.
Strap & Wearability
Paired with a leather strap, the watch wears light and comfortably.
Its 36mm size makes it suitable for a wide range of wrists, particularly for those who prefer a more compact, refined fit.
Final Impression
The design relies on clarity and proportion rather than contrast, making the details easier to appreciate at a glance.
This gives the watch a more versatile character, suitable across both formal and everyday settings.

The CIGA DESIGN Falcon Silver Skeleton Watch keeps the same fully open construction - but presents it with more restraint.
It allows the design to breathe, with light playing a larger role across the case and movement.
Inspiration & Design
The Falcon is built around the idea of tension held in place.
Sharp case geometry, exposed mechanics, and open space work together to create a watch that feels alert rather than static. The design is less about symmetry and more about balance - between structure and void.
This is where CIGA Design’s approach becomes clear: the watch is constructed as a system, not layered as separate elements.
In Silver, that tension feels more controlled. The absence of heavy contrast shifts the focus toward proportion, finishing, and mechanical detail rather than visual intensity.
Dial & Case Details
The 316L steel case retains its open-worked construction, with sharp lines and a strong, balanced stance.
Micro-sandblasted surfaces are paired with polished accents, creating a subtle interplay of light across the case and bezel.
The layered bezel adds depth without overwhelming the design, while the raised crystal enhances the sense of space within the watch.
The skeletonised layout allows the movement to act as both dial and visual centrepiece.
Movement & Mechanics
At its core is the self-developed Caliber CD-02.
Running at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 40-hour power reserve, the movement is designed to be seen as much as it is to perform.
It is mounted within a transparent support structure that creates a floating effect - holding the movement in place while maintaining visible space around it. This reinforces the watch’s sense of openness and tension.
Bracelet/Strap & Wearability
The Falcon is paired with a steel H-link bracelet featuring a hidden clasp for a clean, uninterrupted profile.
Despite its presence, the watch remains relatively slim at approximately 11mm including crystal. The result is a piece that wears more comfortably than its visual complexity suggests.
Final Impression
The Falcon Silver is the more restrained interpretation.
Cleaner, more legible, and easier to pair - it offers the same architecture in a more versatile form.

The CIGA DESIGN Falcon Carbon Skeleton Watch does not rely on a traditional dial.
Instead, it opens the watch completely - front to back - placing the movement at the centre of the design. The Carbon variant intensifies this by framing everything in a darker, more technical palette.
Dial & Case Details
The 43.5mm case is defined by its open-worked lugs and balanced crown guards, giving it a distinct, skeletal frame.
Surfaces are predominantly micro-sandblasted, contrasted with polished accents and chamfered edges that catch light selectively. The darker finish of the Carbon variant reinforces depth across these transitions.
The bezel is built in layers, with recessed sections and raised markers forming a structured outer ring. A raised crystal adds vertical depth and draws the eye into the movement.
With no traditional dial, the movement itself becomes the visual centrepiece - fully exposed and integrated into the watch’s architecture.
Movement & Mechanics
At its core is the self-developed Caliber CD-02.
Running at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 40-hour power reserve, the movement is designed to be seen as much as it is to perform.

Despite its presence, the watch remains relatively slim at approximately 11mm including crystal. The result is a piece that wears more comfortably than its visual complexity suggests.
Final Impression
The Falcon Carbon is the more assertive execution.
Darker, sharper, and more architectural, it emphasises structure and contrast, making the design feel more technical on the wrist.

The Zelos Hammerhead V3 Titanium Granite draws from the classic era of dive watches, reworked with sharper lines and a more contemporary execution.
Its cushion-shaped titanium case gives it a strong wrist presence, while the granite-textured dial adds depth through subtle light play. With 300m water resistance, a hardened titanium surface, and a quick-adjust bracelet, it is built for daily wear with proper dive capability.
Inspiration & Design
The Hammerhead takes its cues from vintage dive watches, particularly the cushion-case silhouettes that defined many tool watches of the past.
Zelos updates this format with more angular case lines and a faceted profile, giving the watch a more modern stance. The case and bracelet are designed to flow together visually, creating a cohesive and assertive look on the wrist. Despite its size, the relatively short lug-to-lug length helps it wear more compactly than expected.
Dial & Case Details
This Granite variant features a stamped and textured brass dial designed to mimic the look of natural granite, without the fragility of stone.
The dark grey surface reflects light subtly, revealing fine texture without appearing overly decorative. It remains restrained at a glance, but shows more detail up close.
The case is made from Grade 2 titanium and treated with a 1200HV hardened coating to improve scratch resistance over standard titanium. A sapphire bezel insert and domed sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating reinforce its durability as a true tool watch.
Movement & Mechanics
Inside is the Seiko NH35 automatic movement, a proven and reliable calibre widely used for its durability and ease of service.
It fits the Hammerhead’s purpose well, prioritising robustness and practicality over unnecessary complexity.
Bracelet/Strap & Wearability
The watch is fitted on a titanium bracelet with a hardened surface and a quick-adjust clasp with an external release.
This allows for fast, on-the-fly sizing adjustments without removing the watch, improving comfort throughout the day. Despite its bold proportions and 300m rating, the 49mm lug-to-lug span helps it sit securely and balanced on the wrist.
Final Impression
The Zelos Hammerhead V3 Titanium Granite is a modern dive watch that focuses on material, construction, and proportion rather than excess.
It delivers the presence expected of a serious diver, while the granite-textured dial and hardened titanium case give it a more considered and distinctive character. A strong option for those looking for a robust daily watch with subtle detail and proper capability.

The GT series takes its cues from classic grand tourers - streamlined, low, and built for sustained wear rather than short bursts.
In the Carbon Supernova, that idea is translated into a fully carbon-forward construction. Case and dial share the same material base, giving the watch a more continuous, less segmented appearance.
The result is a piece that feels lighter visually and physically, while still retaining structure.
Inspiration & Design
The design approach centres on flow and integration.
The case transitions cleanly into the strap without aggressive lugs, keeping the profile compact despite the 42mm diameter and 46mm lug-to-lug.
Automotive references remain subtle:
Dial layout prioritises legibility, similar to instrument clusters
Power reserve functions as a secondary information layer rather than a focal complication
Case curvature keeps the watch close to the wrist
This is less about overt styling, more about proportion and continuity.
Dial & Case Details
The dial is also forged carbon - not a printed or layered surface.
Each piece carries a unique marbled pattern
Matte texture reduces glare and enhances depth
Orange SuperLumiNova is applied selectively for contrast
In low light, the BGW9 lume introduces a cooler tone, shifting the watch away from its darker daytime appearance.
The forged carbon case reinforces this:
Lightweight relative to its size
Subtle surface variation across each piece
Paired with a box-shaped sapphire crystal that adds slight height and vintage curvature
Movement & Mechanics
The watch uses the Miyota 9133 automatic movement, a step up from the standard 9-series due to its integrated complication.
Power reserve indicator (approx 40–45 hours)
28,800bph beat rate
Hacking and hand-winding
The power reserve is integrated cleanly into the dial, adding function without overwhelming the layout.
Bracelet/Strap & Wearability
This variant is fitted on a leather strap with matching stitching, shifting it slightly away from a pure sports positioning.
22mm lug width
Softens the overall look of the carbon case
Improves comfort for extended wear
On wrist:
46mm lug-to-lug keeps it compact despite diameter
12.5mm total thickness (with crystal) remains wearable under most cuffs
Lightweight case reduces fatigue over long periods
Wear profile:
Sits low relative to its diameter
Balanced across wrist due to lug-less integration
Suitable as a daily piece, not just a statement watch
Final Impression
The Zelos GT Carbon Supernova 42mm is defined by material consistency and controlled detail.
It doesn’t rely on bold colour or high contrast. Instead, it builds interest through:
Carbon texture
Subtle lume transitions
Functional complication
This makes it a more restrained GT - one that wears easily day to day, while still offering enough variation to remain engaging over time.

The Zelos GT Verdant takes a familiar sports watch format and reinterprets it through material and proportion. The forged carbon case keeps weight low while adding visual texture, while the teal dial introduces contrast without overwhelming the design. The result is a watch that stands out subtly and wears easily across different settings.
Inspiration & Design
Inspired by the golden era of grand tourers, the GT takes cues from iconic automotive silhouettes and design language.
The case profile reflects the sleek curves of classic performance cars, while the bracelet design echoes louvered engine covers - reinforcing its motorsport DNA.
The overall design balances elegance with mechanical intent, resulting in a watch that feels cohesive rather than thematic.
Dial & Case Details
The Verdant dial is finished in a rich green tone, paired with a high-gloss clear coat that enhances depth under changing light.
Applied indices and contrasting markers ensure strong legibility, while maintaining a clean and modern aesthetic.
A power reserve indicator is integrated into the dial and styled as a fuel gauge - a subtle yet deliberate nod to its automotive inspiration.
The stainless steel case features a mix of brushed and polished surfaces, highlighting the watch’s sculpted form.
Movement & Mechanics
At the heart of the GT is the Miyota 9133 automatic movement, featuring a power reserve complication.
This movement provides reliable performance while supporting the watch’s functional design language, particularly through the fuel gauge-style indicator.
Bracelet/Strap & Wearability
The watch is paired with a stainless steel bracelet featuring a quick-adjust clasp, allowing for easy sizing and day-to-day comfort.
Despite its sculpted case design, the proportions are well-balanced, ensuring a comfortable fit on the wrist.
Final Impression
This is a sports watch for someone who wants something different without stepping too far outside of everyday wearability. The forged carbon construction keeps it lightweight, while the restrained design ensures it remains versatile. A strong option for both first-time buyers and collectors looking to add a modern material to their rotation.

The CIGA DESIGN X Series Gorilla Red Stainless Steel channels strength through structure, contrast, and mechanical transparency. Combining the suspended case architecture of the X Series with vivid red accents and a stainless steel case, it delivers a bold yet balanced expression of industrial watch design.
Inspiration & Design
The X Series Gorilla draws inspiration from the physical power of the gorilla and the engineered logic of suspension systems.
Each corner of the case incorporates an independent spring suspension system, inspired by high-performance automotive engineering. This structure enhances shock resistance while visually reinforcing the watch’s mechanical identity.
Within the square case, four triangular structural elements form a stable geometric framework, supporting the suspended movement core and creating the Gorilla’s distinctive architectural silhouette.
Dial & Case Details
The watch features a double-sided skeleton construction, allowing the movement to be viewed from both the front and the caseback.
Rather than relying on a conventional dial, the time scale is integrated into the case structure itself - creating a hidden display that feels embedded within the architecture.
The stainless steel case introduces a cleaner, more neutral material base, while vivid red accents create strong visual contrast against the exposed mechanics. The result feels bold, but more grounded than coated variants.
The signature double-X motif is coated with Super-LumiNova for visibility in low-light conditions.
Movement & Mechanics
Powering the watch is CIGA Design’s in-house CD-01 automatic movement, developed specifically for the X Series.
The skeletonised architecture exposes the interaction of gears, bridges, and the oscillating balance - transforming the movement into a central part of the watch’s visual identity.
Bracelet/Strap & Wearability
Paired with a black silicone strap, the X Series Gorilla Red Stainless Steel balances durability with flexibility for everyday wear.
The curved case architecture allows the watch to sit securely on the wrist, while the stainless steel construction gives it a reassuring, solid presence.
Final Impression
The X Series Gorilla Red Stainless Steel offers one of the most balanced expressions of the collection. By combining exposed mechanics, suspension-inspired engineering, and vivid red contrast within a steel case, it feels bold, modern, and highly wearable.

The Angles Triscope challenges the way we perceive time. Instead of a circular dial and sweeping hands, it presents time through geometry: a jumping hour display paired with a triangular minute path, housed within a softened Reuleaux triangle case.
Mechanical, architectural, and unapologetically unconventional; this is independent watchmaking expressed through form.
Inspiration & Design
Created by Angles Watches, the Triscope reflects over two decades of industry experience distilled into something entirely original.
The case adopts a Reuleaux triangle silhouette: a softened three-sided form that maintains constant width while rejecting traditional round symmetry. The result is neither square nor circular, but something deliberate and sculptural.
At the narrow left angle sits a magnified jump-hour aperture. Opposite it, the dial opens into a triangular minute register, exposing part of the movement beneath, reinforcing the watch’s mechanical honesty.
This is geometry in motion.
Movement & Mechanics
The Triscope is powered by the Miyota 90S5 automatic movement, chosen for its slim architecture and reliability.
Unlike conventional three-hand watches:
The hour jumps instantly at the top of each hour
The balance wheel remains visible at 5 o’clock
The small seconds hand is omitted for a cleaner dial
The 90S5 beats at 28,800vph with approximately 36 hours of power reserve, delivering smooth mechanical rhythm beneath an unconventional display.
Case & Construction
Material: 316L stainless steel
Crystal: Sapphire with magnified jump-hour window
Case Shape: Reuleaux triangular form
Finishing: Brushed surfaces with polished bevel transitions
The case’s geometry is complex but controlled. Edges are softened, proportions balanced. Despite its bold architecture, it remains wearable and considered.
The exhibition caseback reveals the movement and individually numbered engraving, reinforcing its limited-production character.
How It Reads Time
The Triscope requires a brief moment of recalibration; then becomes intuitive.
Hours: Displayed in the magnified aperture at the left. The numeral jumps instantly at each hour.
Minutes: Indicated by a lever-style hand that travels along the triangular minute track.
The exposed brass ratchet mechanism drives the minute indicator, doubling as both function and visual theatre.
It is not time shown passively; it is time performed.

The Chronoking Mecaquartz Racing Green channels the refined side of 1970s motorsport chronographs. With its deep forest-green dial and playful chronograph accents, it balances vintage racing character with modern versatility.
Confident without excess, it is a chronograph for collectors who appreciate colour — applied with restraint.
Inspiration & Design
The Chronoking Racing collection draws from the golden era of 1960s–70s racing chronographs - when timing instruments were expressive yet purposeful.
The Forest Green edition evokes the elegant hues of classic European sports cars. Its rich tone introduces warmth and personality while maintaining the disciplined geometry that defines the Chronoking line. Colour here is not loud; it is considered.
This is retro spirit refined for modern wear.
Dial & Case Details
The textured green dial provides depth and contrast, accented by vibrant chronograph details that introduce subtle energy without overwhelming the composition.
Applied luminous indices ensure strong legibility, while the balanced sub-dial layout preserves vintage symmetry. The 38mm stainless-steel case remains faithful to classic proportions, offering versatility and comfortable daily wear.
A defining feature of the Chronoking Racing series is its interchangeable tachymeter bezel system. The steel bezel, equipped with 120 clicks, can be swapped for alternative monochrome variations - blue, orange, red, black, or green - allowing the wearer to adjust the watch’s visual character.
A domed crystal enhances dimensionality, while the engraved Chronoking signature on the caseback anchors the design to its heritage.
Movement & Mechanics
Powering the Racing Green is the Swiss-assembled TMI VK63 Mecaquartz movement.
This hybrid architecture combines:
Quartz precision for timekeeping
A mechanical chronograph module that delivers a smooth sweeping central chronograph hand
The result is a chronograph that offers mechanical tactility with quartz practicality - ideal for daily use without the servicing demands of a fully mechanical chronograph.
Bracelet / Strap & Wearability
With its 38mm case size and balanced proportions, the Chronoking Racing Green wears comfortably across a wide range of wrists. The stainless-steel construction provides reassuring solidity while remaining light enough for extended wear.
The forest-green dial introduces individuality while remaining understated - making it versatile for both casual settings and more refined styling.
Final Impression
The Nivada Grenchen Chronoking Mecaquartz Racing Green is a study in controlled vibrancy. Vintage racing inspiration, modern hybrid engineering, and interchangeable versatility combine to create a chronograph that feels expressive yet grounded.
A statement piece for those who favour depth over noise.

The Shanghai Watch Auspicious Steeds Limited Edition brings traditional Chinese symbolism into a contemporary mechanical watch format.
Its mother-of-pearl dial serves as both a decorative surface and a storytelling element, setting it apart from the brand’s more restrained models.
Inspiration & Cultural Design
The “Auspicious Steeds” theme draws from traditional Chinese cultural motifs, where horses symbolise strength, progress, and success.
This narrative is translated onto the dial through detailed artwork, creating a watch that leans more toward artistic expression than conventional dress watch minimalism.
Unlike the Pioneer or 1955 series, this piece is designed to be visually engaging first, with heritage references embedded into the design.
Dial & Case Details
The mother-of-pearl dial forms the foundation of the watch’s identity.
Its natural iridescence creates shifting tones under light, adding depth and variation that cannot be replicated through standard dial finishes.
The engraved or printed horse motif sits against this surface, giving the watch a layered, almost dimensional quality.
The 40mm case provides enough space for the dial artwork to be appreciated without feeling oversized on the wrist.
Movement & Mechanics
Powering the watch is the self-winding ST812 automatic movement, delivering dependable accuracy and approximately 42 hours of power reserve.
The transparent sapphire caseback reveals a decorated movement finished with traditional fish-scale engraving - a subtle mechanical detail that complements the artistry on the dial.
Reliable, refined, and built for everyday wear.
Strap & Wearability
Paired with a leather strap, the watch maintains a dress-oriented profile despite its more expressive dial.
At 40mm, it wears slightly more contemporary than traditional dress watches, making it easier to integrate into both formal and smart-casual settings.
Final Impression
This is not a conventional dress watch.
It sits closer to a wearable piece of design - where cultural symbolism and material choice take precedence over restraint.
For the right wearer, that distinction is exactly the appeal.
